This year’s District 5 Meeting in Kalamazoo
was a success. We started off with a bang
on with the Welcome Reception in the
vendor hall, and many cool prizes donated
by our generous vendors were given away.
Our keynote speakers and lecture sessions
were very informative and interesting,
drawing a variety of people from different
realms of research. Culminating our event
was the Awards Banquet at the Gilmore Car
Museum. To quote one attendee, “This
one of the best district meetings I have
been to!” Thank you to the District 5
Planning Committee for their vision and hard
work, and we are looking forward to next
year’s meeting in Cincinnati, OH, “Where
Pig’s Fly”.
